The Defence Forces' Explosive Ordinance Team was called in, but Gardaí say they're not releasing the outcome for operational reasons.
The driver of the car, a woman in her 20s, was arrested, while Gardaí have since arrested a man in his 40s as part of the investigation.
Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
