Two people have died in a workplace incident in County Offaly.
It happened at an industrial premises in Banagher at around 20 to 12 this morning (28 September).
A man in his 50s and a woman in her 20s were pronounced dead at the scene, where their bodies currently remain.
A post-mortem exam will be carried out at Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore at a later date.
The Health and Safety Authority has launched an investigation into the incident.
