Temperatures Expected To Exceed 30 Degrees In The Coming Days

The advice is to stay well hydrated, wear suncream, look out for neighbours and don't leave your pets out.

Met Eireann could issue high temperature warnings as the mercury is expected to exceed 30 degrees from Sunday.

Experts are also warning hat sleeping may be tough early next week with uncomfortably warm nights.

You'd be forgiven for thinking we weren't getting a summer this year, but next week we could be getting record breaking temperatures.

The highest temperature for July was 32 degrees recorded in Roscommon back in 2006.

Met Eireann has issued a weather advisory from Sunday until Wednesday.

While the weather can be quite changable, the advice stays the same - stay well hydrated, slap on the suncream, look out for neighbours and don't leave your pets out.
