Artists have been among the worst hit by the pandemic.
Social Justice Ireland is calling for the introduction of a four-year pilot Universal Basic Income scheme for artists.
The scheme would offer people who made their living as an artist €203 per week.
The Programme for Government committed to a basic income pilot in July last year, and In November, the Arts and Culture Recovery Taskforce recommended such a scheme.

The campaigning groups will host a seminar today involving representative from the arts and trade union sectors to give their responses.
