Over 4,500 refugees and asylum seekers have arrived in Ireland since the start of the year.
The numbers arriving here on a monthly basis remain high as the Government struggles to find accommodation.
Last month 3,073 Ukrainian refugees arrived here. In the first week of January almost 400 Ukrainian refugees came to Ireland while around 700 per week have arrived in the last fortnight.
In addition to this almost 1,500 people seeking international protection arrived here since the start of the year.
Some 362 asylum seekers came to Ireland in the first week of the year, but that number dropped to 246 in the final week of January.
Meanwhile the Government are continuing to struggle to find places to stay for refugees and asylum seekers and it remains that they cannot guarantee accommodation for newly arrived individuals.
