They have four heavy-lift recovery trucks available to assist Gardaí to clear vehicles involved in blockades.
Fuel protestors are continuing to blockade Whitegate Oil Refinery in east Cork where up to 18 vehicles are blocking two entrances to the facility, which is critical national infrastructure.
