The Low Pay Commission has reportedly recommended a 5 per cent increase to Ireland's minimum wage.

More than 165 thousand workers could be getting a pay rise soon.

The minimum wage is set to go up in the upcoming budget, from 13 euro 15 to above 14 euro an hour.

The Low Pay Commission has reportedly recommended a 5 per cent increase, which has been met by little opposition from politicians.
