19 year old Conor O'Brien was shot dead last week.
A man arrested in connection with the murder of Conor O'Brien in Enfield remains in custody this morning.
The man in his 50s was arrested in Carlow on Tuesday on suspicion of firearms offences.
He was then arrested yesterday evening in relation to the murder of 19-year-old Conor O'Brien, who was shot dead on the Trim Road last Thursday.
Mr O'Brien, originally from Gorey in Wexford, was not known to Gardai.
The man continues to be questioned at Carlow Garda Station.
