INTO Says Teachers Need More LGBT Inclusion Training.

Kildare Senator, Fiona O'Loughlin, is chairing the meeting.

More LGBT inclusion training is needed for teachers, according to the INTO.

The union is before the Oireachtas Education Committee this afternoon, chaired by Kildare Senator, Fiona O'Loughlin, to discuss bullying in schools and its impact on staff and students’ mental health.

President of the Irish National Teachers Organisation Joe McKeown says the issue of bullying can extend to staff as well as students:
