Staff at a company contracted to install and maintain the gas network are back on the picket line today following the breakdown of talks at the WRC
GMC Civil and Mechanical Engineering staff in Carlow, Cork, Dublin and Limerick called off a strike last week to engage in talks.
The company, which works on behalf of Gas Networks Ireland, says it's disappointed discussions concluded without agreement and says the dispute has been referred to the Labour Court.
Adrian Kane from SIPTU says Gas Networks Ireland is "not serious" about finding a resolution to the dispute
