The F-A-I has endorsed Sligo Rovers plans to redevelop the existing stadium at the Showgrounds.
The Premier Division club have published plans that include turning their home into a six-thousand seater stadium.
The #bitored today publish a Masterplan, detailing a planned redevelopment to make The Showgrounds a 6,000-seater stadium with a new business plaza and creation of a new academy for the club in County Sligo.

The club - where current Irish captain Seamus Coleman played for three seasons - also plan to build an academy complex.
The estimated cost of the project is 17.3 million euro and project and club chairman Tommy Higgins believes it can get underway soon.
