Stuart Lancaster's side sealed a top-eight finish thanks to the bonus-point win, combined with Glasgow Warrior's victory over Ulster.
Connacht led 19-0 at half-time after tries from Josh Ioane and two from Shamus Hurley-Langton.
Matthew Devine added a fourth try in the second half, before Edinburgh scored a late consolation try through Ewan Ashman.
The result means Connacht finish the regular season on 54 points after winning eight of their last nine league games.
