Gerard (Gerry) Moran, Superintendent Retd., An Garda Siochana (Moorefield Drive, Newbridge and late of The Commons, Navan, Co. Meath) - 19th March 2026 (peacefully) at home surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents John and Margaret, brothers Vincent and John, sister Margaret, sisters-in-law Helen and Maureen, brothers-in-law Paddy, Tommy and Toddy.

Deeply regretted by his wife Betty, sons and daughter John, Tom, Margaret, Gerard and Peter, daughters-in-law Eileen, Lucy, Deirdre, and Edel, son-in-law Matthew, his grandchildren Caelim, Muirna, Fionn, Matthew, Nóra, Mary, Éamon, Eibhlín, Seán, Eilís, Gearóid, his sister Mary, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

May Gerry Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Anderson & Leahy's Funeral Home, Henry Street, Newbridge on Friday from 4pm with prayers at 7pm.

Removal from his residence on Saturday morning at 10.30am to arrive at Cill Mhuire, Ballymany for 11am Mass.

Funeral afterwards to St. Conleth's Cemetery, Newbridge.
