Woman Dies After Bee Attack In Mayo

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene at Heathfield in the Ballycastle area early yesterday evening, where a number of people were injured.

A woman has died following an incident involving bees in County Mayo.

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene at Heathfield in the Ballycastle area early yesterday evening, where a number of people were injured.

A woman who sustained serious injuries was brought by helicopter to Sligo University Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.

A man was also brought to Sligo University Hospital for treatment.
