It happened at around 3.30am last night on the Edmonstown Road.
Two people are dead and a third is injured after a road traffic collision in Co. Roscommon overnight.
Emergency services were called at around 3.30 this morning to the single vehicle collision on the R293 between Ballaghadereen and Gorteen, at the Edmonstown road.
A man in his 20's was pronounced dead at the scene, a woman in her 30's who was rushed to Castlebar Hospital has since been pronounced dead.
Another man in his 20's is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses and particularly want to speak to anyone travelling on the R293 at the time of the collision who may have dash-cam footage to come forward.
