The separate attacks are believed to be linked.

"Shortly after 8 o'clock last night Gardaí attended two incidents on Parnell Street and Henrietta Street in Dublin city.
It followed reports of a disturbance involving a group of men.
Two men were taken by ambulance to the Mater Hospital with apparent stab wounds.
Their injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
Both incidents are believed to be linked and the scenes have been preserved for an examination.
Gardaí say inquiries are ongoing. "
