Urgent call to increase social housing
There's a call for an urgent increase in social housing and new steps to prevent homelessness.
It's after the latest figures show a record 14,159 homeless people in May, a rise of 14 per cent on a year ago.
Focus Ireland is concerned over the record number of children in emergency accommodation for a long time.
Spokesperson Conor Culkin says long-term homeless people need to be the first to get into new social homes.
