A post-mortem is due to take place today on the body of a man found dead at a house in rural county Tipperary yesterday.
The man’s body was removed from the house in the townland of Ballycrana near Kilross last night.
Gardaí attended the scene close to the Limerick/Tipperary border after the man who is understood to be Eastern European was found after 4am yesterday.
It’s understood the man’s body showed signs of injuries and Gardaí say the results of a post mortem will determine the course of their investigation.
The two-storey house remains sealed off this morning for a technical examination and a post-mortem is due to take place at University Hospital Waterford.
Gardaí in Tipperary town are continuing to appeal to anyone with any information to contact them.
