New CAO Portal Launches Today.

Options for apprenticeships and further education will be included for the first time today.

The CAO portal will have options for further education and apprenticeships included for the first time when it goes live later today.

The full range of third level options will be available to apply for through a central portal.

More than 400 PLC courses will be available alongside information on apprenticeships and higher education options.

Students can check out cao-dot-ie forward slash options from midday.

Minister of State for Skills and Further Education, Niall Collins, says apprenticeships aren't a lesser form of education.
