Maynooth Trains To Be Modified To Add Capacity For Bikes

It expects 20 train sets to have "flip up" seats added by the end of the year.

Irish Rail is modifying commuter trains to add capacity for bikes.

These services run on the Maynooth, Longford,  M3 Parkway, Drogheda and Dundalk commuter lines.

It expects 20 train sets to have "flip up" seats added by the end of the year.

These allow cyclists to fold the seat to make room for a bike on board.
