Face covering are no longer a legal requirement in shops, on public transport or in schools.
However, facemasks are still required in healthcare settings.
A requirement for children aged nine to 12 to wear masks in the classroom was introduced in November and is being dropped, along with the requirement for secondary students to wear masks.
