HSE issue reminder to avoid direct sunlight and slip on sunglasses.
Kildare residents are being reminded to slap on the sunscreen this sunny Mother's Day weekend.
As the dry and bright spring conditions continue, the HSE is advising people to avoid the direct sunlight, seek shade, and slip on sunglasses.
It says children should wear factor 50 or more, for adults it's SPF 30 plus.
National Cancer Control Programme Specialist in Public Health Medicine, Dr Katherine Harkin says preparation is key.
