Inner City Helping Homeless says "serious matters" have come to its attention.
Inner City Helping Homeless in Dublin has suspended a senior member of staff.
An independent investigation will be carried out within the charity after 'serious matters' came to the attention of the board in recent days.
The board say they're mindful of the role its volunteers play in Dublin everyday and say it will take every step to ensure the welfare of service users.
They have contacted the Charities Regulator in connection with the matter, and retained senior counsel to examine the situation
Inner City Helping Homeless: "We as a board will continue to take whatever steps are necessary at this time to protect and enhance the invaluable work of the organisation and the welfare of all service users.”https://t.co/V0Rm28szi9
