The Government is reportedly considering a generational smoking ban to outlaw cigarettes.
Former Health Minister Stephen Donnelly already brought in legislation to ban smoking for under 21s from 2028.
The UK is introducing a measure currently whereby cigarettes wouldn't be sold to anyone born on or after 2009.
