DSPCA Issues Warning About Cat Scam.

Some people have been asked for money by fraudsters to remove cats from their streets.

The DSPCA has issued a warning about scammers seeking money from some Dublin residents to remove stray cats from their street.

They promise to deliver the cats to an animal pound but instead abandon them in remote areas, according to the Irish Daily Mail.

The DSPCA has been made aware of a number of incidents in south Dublin and is urging people to be vigilant.

The charity says the scammers are letting some cats loose in the likes of the Dublin Mountains.
