Counterfeit cigarettes worth around €10 million were seized during a search operation in west Dublin yesterday evening.
Gardaí carried out the search as part of Operation Tara.
A trailer containing boxes of counterfeit cigarettes was discovered in a yard by gardaí and Revenue Customs officers.
The estimated loss to the Exchequer is €7.5 million.
