Committee To Discuss Extending Exam Time For Dyslexic Students

Dyslexic students can face significant challenges with extended reading and writing

TDs and Senators will hear calls for students with dyslexia to be given more time during state exams.

The Committee on Public Petitions, will consider a petition calling for extra time to be allowed in Junior and Leaving Cert exams.

The Dyslexia Association of Ireland, says dyslexic students can face significant challenges with extended reading and writing, and can often run out of time in formal exams.
