Blaze at Edenderry home where woman and child died last year now under investigation
One person is dead after a fire at a house in Co. Offaly, at the same address where a woman and child were killed last year.
Emergency services were called to the scene at Castleview Park in Edenderry in the early hours of this morning.
The blaze was put out and the body of an adult found inside. The person hasn't yet been identified.
Gardai say they are investigating the circumstances of the fire and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
Mary Holt and Tadgh Farrell were murdered in a fire bomb attack at the house last December.
