Gardaí are appealing for witnesses
A cyclist in his 40s has died following a crash in Dublin last night.
The man's electric bike collided with a pole at Sallymount Avenue in Ranelagh at around half eight last night.
He was taken to St Vicent's University Hospital in a critical condition and later died from his injuries.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward, particularly anyone travelling between Baggot Street and Sandymount Avenue between 7.45 and 8.30pm yesterday evening.
