The works are taking place at the Poplar Square signal-controlled junction
Works are beginning today (8 June) at the Poplar Square signal-controlled junction.
The works include the provision of an additional pedestrian crossing on the Dublin Road arm of the junction.
The works includes the installations of traffic signal poles and signals, tactile paving, road lining, and all associated site works.
Kildare County Council have said that pedestrian and traffic management will be in place during the works.
