Construction has started on a new 24-home development in Kildangan, adding a mixture of houses and apartments to the south Kildare village.

Plans also include new pedestrian routes and access roads, parking, landscaping and a new entrance from the existing Kilbeg Road.
The privately-funded development received planning permission from Kildare County Council in June, with construction getting underway on August 24th.
Once completed, the project will add 24 properties to the local housing stock.
