Women’s Groups Across The County Get Financial Boost

The grants will be used to support a variety of projects.

The Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) has awarded grants to several women's groups across the county.

The following groups in Kildare have been selected for funding:

Athgarvan Women's Shed, Athgarvan - €219.99
Athy Women's Shed, Athy - €4,246.50
Balyna LGFA, Balyna - €781.98
Broadford Camogie Club, Broadford - €2,728.45
Cappagh GAA - Social Camogie Group, Cappagh - €4,197.86
Castledermot Ladies Gaelic Football Club, Castledermot - €5,000.00
Curragh Family Resource Centre, The Curragh - €1,079.97
Kildare Traveller Action, Countywide - €1,105.00
Mná Beoga, Monasterevin - €1,856.68
Monasterevin Women's Shed, Monasterevin - €4,947.74
Rathangan Women's Shed, Rathangan - €630.85
Robertstown LGFA Club, Robertstown - €5,000.00
Sallins Womens Shed, Sallins - €805.65
Sonas & Siamsa, Ladies Social & Cultural Club, Naas - €4,429.35

The grants will be used to support a variety of projects, from social and cultural activities to sports and recreation. Each group plays a crucial role in fostering community spirit and providing valuable services to their members.
