Two People Critical After House Fire In Tallaght

Emergency services rescued five people from the house.

Five people, including a child, have been rescued from a house fire in Tallaght.

Emergency services received a call at 2.13am today in relation to a domestic fire in Deerpark Drive.

Dublin Fire Brigade staff from Tallaght, Nutgrove, and Dolphin's Barn along with several ambulances attended the scene where they found a well developed fire with a number of people trapped.

Firefighters with breathing apparatus rescued a number of people, including children.

They were treated at the scene before being transferred to St James' Hospital and Tallaght Hospital, where they are continuing to receive treatment.

A man in his 30s and a teenage boy are currently in a critical condition and a teenage girl is in a serious condition.

A woman in her 40s and young boy are receiving treatment for injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.
