One motorist tested positive for drugs.

Two drivers have been arrested in separate Naas Roads Policing Unit operations.

Garda, while on patrol in Newhall, stopped a car and found it was was uninsured, untaxed & had no NCT.

The driver subsequently tested positive for cannabis.

Gardai say "Proceedings to follow."

Naas Roads Policing Unit were on patrol in Newhall when they stopped this car. Using the #MobilityApp, it was found that the car was uninsured, untaxed & had no NCT. Naas Roads Policing Unit have detained a second motorist, for speeding.

The driver was detected during a speedcheck at 162 kph in a 100kph zone.
