TFI's apps include a journey planner, a leap card top up app, taxi driver database, an app for transport tickets and one for local services in parts of Mayo, Limerick and Kerry.

Politicians are calling on Transport for Ireland to use a single app, instead of multiple.

Irish Rail and Expressway also have their own separate apps.

Fine Gael TD Grace Boland says it makes sense to amalgamate them.
