Some parishes in the Dublin Archdiocese will see card payments devices installed, in a bid to increase income at church collections.
The Dublin Archdiocese also take in parts of counties Kildare,Wicklow, Laois, Wexford and Carlow.
The tap-and-donate devices will be installed in churches in 200 parishes around Dublin.
