In a separate operation, the vehicle of a driver who undertook a Naas RPU patrol car on the N7travelling at 135kph a 100kph zone has been seized.
The driver was an unaccompanied Learner Permit holder with no L-Plates.
The car was uninsured to drive and had no tax or NCT on car.
Fines and penalty points have been issued and a court appearance to follow.

While several motorists were found speeding during a Naas Roads Policing Unit operation in Kilcock over the weekend.
One was detected at 84kph in a 50kph zone.
