Community safety takes centre stage with €150,000 allocated funding
The Safer Newbridge Community Partnership has been allocated €150,000 in funding.
The funds will be used to recruit two part-time community harm prevention workers in Newbridge town.
Welcoming the funding, Cllr Chris Pender said: "This isn’t just about safety - it’s about understanding, collaboration, and a collective determination to create a vibrant, secure Newbridge.”
The partnership comprises members of the South Western Regional Drug & Alcohol Task Force, Newbridge Forum, Tusla, and An Garda Síochána.
