800 Ukrainians housed at Maynooth University as new term approaches.
It is a pivotal time for Ukrainian refugees housed in student accommodation in Kildare.
That is according to the The Irish Red Cross who are renewing calls for Irish families to house refugees as the new college term approaches.
Around 800 people who are currently living at Maynooth University, but will be forced to vacate these facilities over the next couple of weeks.
Irish Red Cross secretary general Liam O’Dwyer told KFM's Kildare Today that staff and volunteers have around a month to match the people with new accommodation.
