A white Volkswagen Golf, along with chairs and a bicycle, were destroyed in the blaze in the early hours of Monday, August 18th at around 1am.
Over €25,000 worth of damage has been caused in an arson attack in Athy.

Gardaí say CCTV shows the fire was started deliberately and that there was a strong smell of accelerant in the area, and they are appealing for information.
The registration of the damaged car is 171D285.
