Naas Roads Policing were operating a speed check in Oberstown recently when they detected a drvier travelling at a speed of 114km/hr in a 60km/hr zone.

In a separate operation, Naas Roads Policing Unit detected several motorists speeding during a check in North Kildare yesterday.
One motorist was found travelling at 124kph in an 80kph zone.
Fines and penalty points have been issued to all drivers.
