Motorist Arrested In Kildare After Postive Roadside Drugs Test.

It follows a operation in Kill.

A motorist has been arrested after a positive roadside drugs test.

Naas Roads Policing Unit were conducting a checkpoint in Kill Village on Sunday when they stopped the car.

The vehicle was found to be uninsured.

The driver tested positive for opiates, and has been detained.

The car has been seized and gardai say proceedings are to follow.

The driver proceeded to test positive for opiates and the car was found to have no insurance.
