Met Éireann Issue Status Orange Wind Alert For Kildare

The advisory warning will be in place from 5pm this evening.

Met Éireann has issued a status orange wind alert for Kildare and the rest of the country.

Storm Isha will bring very strong southwest winds with severe and damaging gusts.

There may be very difficult travelling conditions with fallen trees and damage to power lines also possible.

The warning will be in place from 5pm this evening until 2am tomorrow morning (Monday 22nd Jan).

A status red wind warning has just been issued for Donegal, Mayo and Galway.
