Thousands gather to raise funds for Pieta House.
Hundreds took to the streets across Kildare in the early hours of the morning to mark Darkness into Light.
Naas and Athy were among the places throughout Ireland and world where people gathered, walked and even swam to raise funds for 'Pieta House'.
The suicide and self harm prevention charity says its crisis helpline received 40 percent more calls and texts in the last 12 months when compared with 2020.

Funding and Advocacy Manager with Pieta, Tom McEvoy, says the movement has grown in the past 14 years.
