Grades inflated in line with last year's records.
More that 61,000 Leaving Certificate students across Kildare and the rest of the country have been getting their results.
The Grades have been available online through the Candidate Self Service Portal since 10am Friday morning.
Students have also been getting their results in-person at schools.
Over half of this year's grades have been inflated to bring them in line with last year's record-high results.
It could lead to universities using random selection for college places when first round CAO offers are made next Thursday.
Speaking on Kildare Today on KFM, Irish Times Education Columnist and Guidance Counsellor Brian Mooney says there is a good reason for the inflated results.
Those who don't get their desired points are being encouraged to explore alternative options.
