A temporary cycle track is being proposed for Newbridge town centre.
Kildare County Council's plan to install tracks, protected by passive safe bollards and line marking buffer zones on both sides of the Main Street from Riverbank to Bord Na Mona entrance, have gone on public display.

The council says "On street parking on Main Street (R445-27) to be offset on both sides of the carriageway to allow for protective buffer zones and proposed cycle tracks."
Parklets and seating/bicycle parking arrangements are proposed along designated car parking spaces on Main Street and Edward Street (R445-27/28) between Riverbank and Eddie Rockets, Newbridge.
Drawings are on display here and in KCC's headquarters, Aras Cill Dara, Naas, until November 23rd.
Public comment is invited until December 7th.
