Issues have been raised about traffic light sequencing for Celbridge roadworks.
It comes as roadworks are taking place from March 30th until June 16th on the Maynooth road to facilitate works for the Crodaun Waste Water Network Upgrade.
Fianna Fáil Councillor David Trost had asked that the lights on Aghards Road/Shackleton
Road be prioritised during a recent meeting.
He says that traffic flow has been "severely impacted due to the diversions causing tail backs at
peak periods and challenges for people trying to enter and exit their estates".
In response, Kildare County Council said that it had been requested for Uisce Éireann to regularly monitor traffic flows.
