Green Party Senator Admits Communication "Could Have Been Much Better" On Kill Equestrian Centre

Nightly protests are being held at the site by members of the Kill Action Group

The communication and consultation in relation to the site at Kill Equestrian Centre could have been much better, according to Kildare Senator Vincent P. Martin.

The Green Party Senator said Kildare people are very welcoming, adding that people are "completely vindicated" if they feel disappointed with the consultation to date.

Last week, Kill residents met Minister Roderic O'Gorman, attendees were told they would receive answers and minutes from the meeting, which they are yet to receive.

Some 348 Ukrainian refugees were due to be housed at the proposed site in Kill.

However, following the meeting, Kfm understands that number has been halved.

Nightly protests are being held at the proposed site by members of the Kill Action Group.
