A group of 10 women had to be evacuated.
Fire units from Edenderry and Portarlington responded to a fire at Edenderry Swimming Pool this afternoon (Tuesday).
It's understood that the blaze started in the plant room with some smoke damage in other parts of the building and further assessments will be carried out on Wednesday.
No injuries were reported.
In a post on Facebook, Edenderry Swimming Pool thanked the fire crews and said all lessons and classes are cancelled until further notice.
