Over 1,000 people inside

A shopping centre in Ukraine has been hit in a missile strike, according to the country's President.

Volodymyr Zelensky says more than one thousand people were in the mall at the time of the attack.

It happened in the city of Kremenchuk.

Earlier today, the 44 year-old virtually addressed G7 leaders.

He appealed to leaders of 7 of the world's wealthiest nations, not to let the conflict in his country "drag on over winter".

G7 Leaders are attending a summit in Germany to discuss energy security, and the economic fallout from the Ukraine war.
